Woodfield Academy

Woodfield Academy is a specialized private school in Macon, Georgia, dedicated to serving students in grades 2–12 with diagnosed learning differences, including dyslexia, ADHD, Asperger's syndrome, and other learning disabilities. Founded in 1997, the school provides individualized instruction in small classroom settings (average class size of 10) with a faculty experienced in special education support.

The Academy offers two distinct academic tracks to meet each student's needs. The primary track serves students with average to superior ability who benefit from specialized instruction in a supportive environment. The Rivoli School track provides a life skills curriculum designed for students with cognitive and developmental disabilities, emphasizing practical skills and independence. Beginning in fall 2016, Woodfield launched a Fifth Year Transitional Program to support current students as they prepare for post-secondary life and employment.

With 40% of faculty holding advanced degrees and rolling admissions, Woodfield serves approximately 57 students. Annual tuition is $10,250, and eligible students may qualify for the Georgia Special Needs Scholarship to help offset costs.
