Active with Asthma Camp

Active with Asthma Camp is a specialized day camp designed for children ages 8-12 who are managing asthma and taking daily medications. The program focuses on empowering campers through education and fun, teaching essential skills such as recognizing asthma triggers, understanding nutrition, managing medications, and following asthma action plans in an active setting.

Safety and medical support are central to the camp experience. The program is led by trained medical and program staff who are equipped to support children with respiratory needs. Activities include exciting off-site field trips, ensuring that campers can enjoy physical activity and discovery in a supervised, medically-aware environment.

The camp fee is $80, which includes free breakfast and lunch, and scholarships are available based on financial need. To participate, families must submit a $20 deposit with the application. Once accepted, parents will receive a registration packet including necessary medical forms to be completed by both the parent and the child's healthcare provider.
