Adventure Quest offers immersive, outdoor LARP camps in the Colorado Front Range specializing in teamwork and social skill development.
Adventure Quest with Renaissance Adventures offers immersive, outdoor live-action role-playing (LARP) camps designed to engage children through experiential education. Participants join small, age-matched groups to embark on co-created mythic quests, where they work together to solve mysteries, read maps, and navigate challenges using safe, foam swords. This structured, play-based approach provides a unique way for children to engage with storytelling and physical activity.
The program is specifically designed to foster essential developmental skills, including teamwork, critical thinking, communication, and ethical reasoning. By navigating complex narratives and interacting with peers in a collaborative setting, campers build leadership skills and social confidence. The small group format helps ensure that each child can participate meaningfully in the group's shared decision-making and problem-solving processes.
Renaissance Adventures has provided these experiential programs throughout the Colorado Front Range since 1995. Summer camp locations include Boulder (Eben G. Fine Park and Mackintosh Academy), Denver (Denver Waldorf School and Berkeley Lake Park), Louisville (Cottonwood Park), and Longmont (Left Hand Creek Park). In addition to summer camps, they offer birthdays, afterschool programs, and special events.
