Adventure Quest offers immersive, play-based outdoor camps in Colorado specializing in teamwork and social skill development.
Adventure Quest with Renaissance Adventures offers immersive, outdoor live-action role-playing (LARP) camps designed to engage children through experiential education. Participants join small, age-matched groups to embark on co-created mythic quests, using safe, foam swords to navigate stories, solve mysteries, and outwit monsters. This structured, play-based approach provides a unique way for children to engage with a narrative-driven environment.
The program is specifically designed to foster essential developmental skills, including teamwork, critical thinking, communication, and ethical reasoning. By navigating challenges and making decisions that impact the story, campers practice leadership and social interaction in a supportive, collaborative setting. The small group structure helps facilitate peer connections and social skill development through shared objectives.
Renaissance Adventures has provided experiential learning programs throughout the Colorado Front Range since 1995. Summer camp locations include Boulder (Eben G. Fine Park and Mackintosh Academy), Denver (Denver Waldorf School and Berkeley Lake Park), Louisville (Cottonwood Park), and Longmont (Left Hand Creek Park). In addition to summer camps, they offer birthdays, afterschool programs, and special events.
