Founded in 1960, Appel Farm Arts Camp provides a choice-based, youth-centered environment for campers ages 8–18. The camp is built on a foundation of being a gender-inclusive and radically supportive creative community, making it a welcoming space for neurodivergent youth and those seeking a safe, expressive outlet for their talents.
Campers participate in two- or four-week overnight sessions, choosing from a wide variety of disciplines including Music, Theatre, Dance, Creative Writing, Media Arts, Photography, and Visual Arts. For those interested in sensory-friendly or active engagement, the camp also offers Environmental Arts, Sports, and Water Games, allowing students to explore their interests in a low-pressure, highly supportive setting.
As an ACA Accredited, non-profit organization, Appel Farm focuses on fostering creativity and community. The camp also offers family camp options, providing a unique way for families to engage in the arts together in a vibrant, inclusive atmosphere.
