AuSM Camps - Camp Discovery

Camp Discovery, a partnership with True Friends Camp Courage, provides a specialized summer camp experience in Maple Lake, Minnesota, specifically designed for teens and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, Asperger's syndrome, and other developmental disabilities. The program is tailored for campers with lower support needs, specifically those who can follow simple multi-step instructions, make choices among activity options, and participate in small group activities for at least 45 minutes.

The camp offers a highly supportive environment with a low 1:4 staff-to-camper ratio, ensuring that each participant receives the attention necessary to navigate social and recreational activities safely.
