AYF-Camp Merrowvista

AYF-Camp Merrowvista provides a safe, structured, and supportive summer environment designed to help young people ages 8-17 develop their "Best Self." Through a philosophy of balanced living and healthy friendships, the camp offers age-appropriate programming that focuses on social-emotional growth, skill-building, and community connection in a supervised setting.

The camp features specialized programs tailored to different developmental stages. For younger campers (Grades 3-7), the Pioneer Program offers a variety of activities including arts, crafts, sports, and waterfront fun, with options for overnight camping adventures. Middle schoolers (Grades 7-8) participate in the Seeker Program, which introduces more significant challenges like backpacking and canoeing trips. For older teens (Grades 9-12), the Four Trails Program provides wilderness expeditions, such as hiking or canoeing, designed to foster independence and leadership within a community context.

As an ACA Accredited, non-profit camp, Merrowvista emphasizes a progression of responsibility and adventure. Whether through in-camp activities or multi-day wilderness trips, the program is designed to help campers navigate new challenges and build lasting social skills in a nurturing, outdoor environment.
