Bar T Ranch

Bar T Ranch is an ACA-accredited day camp in Gaithersburg, MD, offering traditional and unique activities designed to build confidence and social skills. Programming includes swimming in a renovated pool, climbing at Waredaca, arts and crafts, and athletic competitions. The camp emphasizes community through daily "Team Time" sessions to help children develop social connections in a supportive, high-energy environment.

To ensure a safe, structured experience, campers are organized into small groups by grade and gender, typically consisting of 12-19 participants. Each group is supported by a dedicated leadership team, including at least one Senior Counselor (18+) and one Junior Counselor (16+). This high staff-to-camper ratio provides the supervision and mentorship necessary for navigating new challenges. The dynamic weekly schedule features special events like the Camp Olympics and annual box car derbies.
