Beam Camp

Beam Camp is an ACA-accredited overnight summer program in Strafford, New Hampshire, welcoming campers aged 9-17 of all genders and identities. The camp provides a highly engaging, hands-on environment where students can develop confidence through creative problem-solving and collaborative projects. The program is designed to help campers transform their ideas into tangible artifacts through fine arts, technology, and manual skills.

The camp experience is centered around the "Beam Project," where campers work alongside a professional staff of architects, engineers, designers, and makers. This collaborative setting offers a unique opportunity for students to learn specialized tools and techniques while building social skills and community success. Beyond technical creation, campers engage in traditional outdoor activities including swimming, hiking, and games across 750 acres of mountains, forests, and lakes.

Beam Camp offers two summer session options: a two-week program and a four-week program. As an independent, not-for-profit organization, the camp focuses on fostering personal achievement and creative temperament in a supportive, nature-based setting.
