Camp Airy

Camps Airy & Louise provide a supportive, single-gender overnight summer camp experience for Jewish children in grades 2 through 12. The program is intentionally designed to foster self-advocacy, self-expression, and self-confidence through a variety of creative and challenging activities. By offering a safe environment for risk-taking, the camp helps campers develop essential social-emotional skills such as flexibility, conflict resolution, and effective communication.

The camp environment emphasizes life skills and social development through structured bunk life, which encourages campers to build tolerance, teamwork, and leadership capabilities. The diverse staff provides strong role models, helping campers navigate social interactions and build lifelong friendships. The curriculum also integrates an appreciation for the natural world and a sense of environmental responsibility into the daily camp experience.

As an ACA-accredited program, Camps Airy & Louise offer a warm, inclusive, and non-judgmental community. While the camp focuses on strengthening Jewish identity through Shabbat celebrations and Israel programming, it welcomes children from all economic backgrounds. The single-gender setting is a deliberate choice to allow campers to explore interests beyond gender stereotypes in a secure, nurturing setting.
