Camp Bethel

Camp Bethel offers ACA-accredited resident and day camps for ages 5-18, set on 470 acres of forests, ponds, and hills in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. The camp provides a structured and intentional community focused on connection with nature and others, making it a supportive environment for campers seeking adventure and social growth.

To ensure safety and personalized attention, campers are placed in small groups of 10-12 children led by 2-4 well-trained counselors. This low camper-to-staff ratio is ideal for children who benefit from high levels of supervision, mentorship, and a predictable group dynamic during outdoor activities and educational programs.

The camp facilities include air-conditioned cabins and a dining hall, providing a comfortable and stable environment within a rustic setting. Operated by the Virginia District Church of the Brethren, Camp Bethel offers a variety of active, fun, and educational activities designed to foster confidence and community in a secure, supervised setting.
