Camp Billings

Camp Billings is a non-profit, co-ed overnight camp in Fairlee, Vermont, serving children ages 8-15. Designed to foster independence and resilience, the camp provides a structured yet adventurous environment where campers can disconnect from technology and engage deeply with the outdoors. With a 2:1 camper-to-staff ratio and small cabin groupings, the camp emphasizes deep social bonds and a sense of belonging, making it a supportive setting for children developing social-emotional skills.

The program offers over 40 diverse activities, including water sports, athletics, arts and crafts, and adventure programs like ropes courses and archery. These activities are designed to promote choice and autonomy, allowing campers to shape their own daily schedules. The camp's model focuses on building lifelong skills such as teamwork, responsibility, and collective care through shared living and communal duties.

Safety and well-being are central to the Camp Billings experience. The camp is fully ACA accredited and maintains rigorous safety standards, including an on-site nursing team, certified waterfront staff, and comprehensive staff training focused on character. Located on the shores of Lake Fairlee, the camp offers four 2-week sessions, providing an affordable and high-quality summer experience for families seeking a safe, supervised, and enriching outdoor program.
