Camp CAMP

Camp CAMP is dedicated to strengthening and inspiring individuals with disabilities and their caregivers through a mission of Recreation, Respite, and Education. The camp specializes in serving children and adults with physical, developmental, and intellectual disabilities, as well as those with complex medical conditions and the behavioral challenges that often accompany them.

A unique strength of Camp CAMP is its ability to accommodate campers with rare or severe medical conditions that are often turned away by other specialized camps. Because campers register as individuals, the program can provide the specific level of care and support required for high-needs populations. Please note that while the camp supports behavioral challenges secondary to physical or developmental disabilities, it is not designed for children whose primary diagnosis is solely a mental health diagnosis.

Located in Center Point, TX, this ACA-accredited, non-profit organization offers overnight stays and family camp opportunities. Managed by the Children's Association for Maximum Potential, Camp CAMP provides a vital resource for respite and community for families navigating complex medical and developmental journeys.
