Camp Cayuga is a residential summer camp in Honesdale, PA, offering highly supervised activities and a 4:1 staff ratio for ages 6-16.
Camp Cayuga is a coed, nonsectarian residential summer camp located on a 350-acre private estate in the Pocono Mountains, serving children ages 6-16. The camp provides a highly supervised environment with a camper-to-staff ratio of better than 4:1, ensuring that children receive the attention and care necessary for a successful summer experience. For older campers, a separate Teen Campus offers a specialized setting tailored to the needs of teenagers.
The camp offers over 60 daily activities designed to build confidence and skills across all levels, including horseback riding, trapeze, scuba, and a ropes course. For campers entering 5th grade and higher, a Free-Choice Activity Program allows for greater autonomy and personalized engagement. The facility is exceptionally well-equipped with modern cabins, a private lake, two pools, an art center, and a dance studio, providing a variety of sensory and physical outlets.
With a long-standing tradition of care under the direction of the Buynak family since 1962, Camp Cayuga offers a 'First-Time Camper Guarantee' to help ease the transition for children new to overnight camp. Families can choose from 2, 4, 6, or 8-week sessions, providing flexible options for summer programming.
