Camp Chase YMCA

Camp Chase YMCA is a summer day camp for children ages 5-16 located on 88 beautiful acres in the Unionville/Burlington area. As part of the YMCA of Greater Hartford, the camp focuses on character development and strengthening interpersonal relationships through a variety of structured programming. The camp's mission is centered on the core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility, providing a supportive environment for youth to grow.

The camp provides a safe and healthy environment, holding accreditation from the American Camping Association and licensure from the CT Department of Health. Safety is a primary focus, with all counselors certified in American Red Cross CPR and First Aid, and lifeguards holding specialized certifications. Specialized instructors, including certified Ropes Course and Archery Directors, lead activities designed to challenge and empower participants.

Programs at Camp Chase are intentionally designed to foster the "40 Assets" identified by the Search Institute, helping children develop the essential skills needed to grow into healthy, happy adults. Beyond summer day camp, the facility also serves as a family swim center, offering swim lessons and swim team opportunities that integrate the YMCA's core values into every interaction.
