Camp Cherith of Western New York

Camp Cherith of Western New York offers a traditional summer camp experience designed to provide a break from our fast-paced, technology-driven world. The camp provides both one week of day camp and four weeks of residential overnight camp, offering a structured outdoor environment where children can engage with nature and build lasting friendships.

The camp features a variety of supervised activities including swimming, hiking, horseback riding, target sports, fishing, and nature exploration. To ensure a supportive and safe environment, campers are placed in small cabin groups led by caring counselors who provide guidance and mentorship throughout the summer.

As an independent, not-for-profit organization, Camp Cherith focuses on spiritual growth and outdoor adventure. While the program emphasizes exploring nature and religious themes, the small group structure and diverse activity choices provide a nurturing setting for campers to develop social skills and independence.
