Camp Easterseals UCP

Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains near Roanoke, VA, Camp Easterseals UCP provides a supportive and inclusive summer camp experience for children and adults (ages 8 and up) with various disabilities. The camp is specifically designed to accommodate campers with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other physical or intellectual disabilities, ensuring a safe and accessible environment for all participants.

Campers can engage in a wide range of adaptive activities, including swimming, canoeing, horseback riding, archery, crafts, and campfires. Beyond traditional recreation, the camp offers specialized programming such as a weeklong Performing Arts Camp, therapy sessions, and a dedicated Family Week. The camp's mission is to provide fun, challenging opportunities within a unique atmosphere tailored to the needs of the special needs community.

The camp offers 6 and 12-day overnight programs during the summer, as well as weekend programs available during the spring and fall months. As an ACA accredited facility operated by Easterseals UCP, the camp provides a structured and professional setting for families seeking accessible outdoor adventures.
