Camp Echo

Camp Echo is an ACA-accredited residential YMCA camp located on 500 scenic acres near Fremont, Michigan. As a long-standing institution founded in 1924, the camp provides a structured and engaging outdoor environment for campers of all ages and identities. The camp's extensive facilities, including a ropes challenge course, climbing wall, and traversing wall, offer opportunities for campers to build confidence, resilience, and physical skills in a supervised setting.

The camp features a wide variety of sensory and physical activities designed to engage different interests and abilities. Campers can participate in lakeside activities such as sailing, canoeing, fishing, and swimming on Ryerson Long Lake, or explore the extensive network of hiking and horseback trails. Operating as an overnight residential camp, Camp Echo offers lodging for more than 250 campers at a time. The camp is licensed by the state of Michigan and maintains high standards of safety and care through its American Camp Association accreditation.
