Camp FUNdamentals

Camp FUNdamentals offers therapeutic, nature-based summer camps designed for children and young adults of all abilities, ranging from ages 4 to 22. Located in the Twin Cities metro area, these entirely outdoor programs utilize natural play areas and farms to foster skill-building through nature-based movement, open-ended play, and emotional regulation tools. The camp is specifically designed to support neurodivergent campers, including those with autism, ADHD, Asperger's, and various developmental, physical, or cognitive disabilities.

Safety and individualized support are central to the camp experience, featuring a low 1:3 camper-to-staff ratio to ensure attentive care. The programming focuses on gross motor skills, social skills development, and coping strategies. For campers who require additional assistance for medical or behavioral reasons, the camp welcomes and accommodates support persons to attend alongside the child to ensure a successful and comfortable experience.

Camp sessions are held at various natural locations around Maple Grove and the Twin Cities, with weekly sessions available for up to $300 per week. Whether your child is working on speech and language goals, navigating physical challenges like cerebral palsy or muscular dystrophy, or simply looking to connect with nature in a sensory-friendly environment, Camp FUNdamentals provides a specialized, inclusive summer setting.
