Camp Hardee

Camp Hardee is an ACA-accredited, all-girls summer resident camp located on 95 acres of riverfront and woodlands in Blounts Creek, NC. As the smallest of the three summer resident camps, it offers a highly intimate and close-knit community setting, which can be particularly beneficial for girls who thrive in smaller, more predictable, and less overwhelming social environments.

The camp provides a variety of structured and sensory-rich activities, including swimming, boating on the Pamlico River, archery, hiking, and arts and crafts. Each week follows a festive theme, complemented by all-camp events like talent shows, dances, or luaus. The international staff also hosts cultural nights, offering unique opportunities for social engagement and global awareness in a supportive, supervised setting.

Operated by the Girl Scouts of North Carolina Coastal Pines, Camp Hardee focuses on building courage, confidence, and character through shared experiences like campfires and group songs. This structured overnight program is designed to foster lifelong friendships and personal growth through nature-based recreation.
