Camp Havaya

Camp Havaya, located on the Aaron and Marjorie Ziegelman Campus in the Pocono Mountains, PA, offers an immersive overnight camp experience. The campus features a wide range of engaging environments, including a waterfront with canoeing and kayaking, a low and high ropes course, a climbing wall, and endless hiking trails. These diverse settings provide excellent opportunities for campers to build confidence and physical skills in a nature-focused setting.

The camp provides a variety of structured activities and facilities, such as a heated swimming pool, an arts center, a state-of-the-art theater, and an indoor gym, alongside numerous athletic courts for tennis, basketball, and volleyball. This variety ensures that campers can explore different interests, from creative arts to high-energy sports, in a supportive and stimulating environment.

Led by Director Rabbi Isaac Saposnik, the camp is staffed by energetic and enthusiastic college students who serve as counselors. These staff members are dedicated to providing attentive care, from morning routines to evening stories, and are trained to encourage campers to challenge themselves and try new things. As an ACA Accredited, non-profit camp, Camp Havaya focuses on creating a safe, fun, and memorable summer experience.
