Camp Istrouma

Camp Istrouma is an ACA-accredited overnight camp located on 167 acres in Greenwell Springs, LA. The camp offers a diverse range of sensory and physical activities designed to foster friendship and personal growth. With amenities ranging from a low ropes course and archery range to lakefront activities like a zip line, blob, and slide, the camp provides a variety of engaging environments for campers to explore their interests and build confidence.

The camp features a wide array of structured and unstructured play options, including human foosball, a gaga pit, paintball, and hiking trails. For those seeking water-based recreation, the camp offers canoeing and various lakefront attractions. The facility includes large-scale amenities such as the 8,400 sq. ft. Lake Lodge, which provides a comfortable, sheltered space for dining and group gatherings, making it a versatile setting for different activity levels.

Operating under the umbrella of the United Methodist Church, Camp Istrouma serves all denominations through its quest group program with a mission of developing disciples and forming lasting friendships. The camp's infrastructure, including the Chapel and Wilkes Hall, can accommodate over 200 participants, providing a robust setting for organized group programs and summer adventures.
