Camp Krem - Camping Unlimited

Since 1957, Camp Krem - Camping Unlimited has provided children and adults with developmental disabilities a full program of recreation, education, and adventure. The camp offers both Summer Camp and a Year-Round Respite Program, specifically designed to serve individuals with all types of developmental disabilities in a warm, friendly, and inclusive atmosphere.

The program focuses on nurturing independence, self-confidence, and responsibility while building lifelong relationships. Through a philosophy of "planned permissiveness," staff encourage discovery and learning in a safe environment. The camp's activities are structured to help participants develop a sense of worth and respect for others through shared adventures and social engagement.

In addition to providing specialized programming for participants, Camp Krem offers much-needed respite for parents, families, and caregivers. As an ACA Accredited, non-profit organization, the camp provides both overnight and day camp options in Ahwahnee, CA, ensuring a supportive community for both the individuals with disabilities and their support networks.
