Camp Louise

Camps Airy & Louise provide a supportive, single-gender overnight camp experience for Jewish children in grades 2 through 12. The program is designed to foster self-growth, self-advocacy, and self-expression through a variety of creative and challenging activities. By offering a safe environment for risk-taking, the camp helps campers build the confidence needed to navigate their unique developmental journeys.

The camp curriculum focuses heavily on developing essential life skills, including communication, teamwork, conflict resolution, and leadership. Through the structure of bunk life, campers learn flexibility and tolerance, building lasting friendships with peers from diverse backgrounds. The staff is dedicated to providing a caring and inclusive environment where every child can develop their social-emotional skills and explore their identity without judgment.

Beyond social development, the camp emphasizes an appreciation for the natural world and a strong sense of Jewish identity through Shabbat celebrations and community service. As an ACA-accredited program, Camps Airy & Louise provides a structured and safe setting in Cascade, MD, where campers can develop resilience and a sense of responsibility to their community and the environment.
