Camp Mend A Heart

Camp Mend A Heart is a medically supervised summer camp specifically designed for children ages 7–17 living with congenital heart disease. Operated by the Children's Heart Foundation of Nevada, the program provides a safe, highly monitored environment where heart patients can participate in summer activities with peace of mind. The camp is available to heart patients living in Nevada who are patients at the Children's Heart Center.

The camp experience extends beyond the patient to include siblings, a thoughtful approach that helps strengthen family bonds and creates shared, life-changing memories. By including siblings, the program addresses the unique family dynamics often present when a child is managing a chronic medical condition, ensuring the entire family unit benefits from the camp experience.

Located at the Pathfinder Ranch in Mountain Center, California, the camp offers a beautiful setting for recreation and connection.
