Camp Midicha

Camp Midicha is a specialized residential summer camp in Fenton, MI, specifically designed for children and teens (ages 8-17) living with diabetes. Operated by the American Diabetes Association, the camp provides a safe, inclusive environment where campers can participate in traditional summer activities while receiving expert medical oversight tailored to their specific health needs.

Safety and medical management are the core of the Camp Midicha experience. The camp features a full-time medical staff in residence, including doctors, nurses, and dietitians, ensuring professional care for all campers. To ease the burden on families, the camp provides all necessary diabetes care supplies, including insulin, syringes, lancets, meters, and test strips.

The camp utilizes the American Camping Association-accredited campgrounds at Camp Copneconic, providing a high standard of care and structured programming.
