Camp Millhouse

Camp Millhouse is an ACA-accredited residential summer camp in South Bend, IN, specifically designed to serve individuals of all ages with varying disabilities. The camp offers six one-week summer sessions as well as respite weekends during the spring and fall, providing much-needed breaks and community connection for campers and their families.

Safety and specialized care are central to the Camp Millhouse experience. The camp features 24-hour on-site nursing with professional medication management led by a Registered Nurse, ensuring that medical needs are met around the clock. Additionally, the camp is fully prepared to accommodate all dietary requirements, making it a secure environment for campers with complex health or nutritional needs.

Campers participate in a wide range of adaptive activities, including arts and crafts, nature exploration, music, and swimming in a heated in-ground pool. The facility features a low ropes challenge course and specialized wheelchair art equipment to ensure all campers can engage in creative and physical recreation. Weekly dances and social events further foster an inclusive and joyful community atmosphere.
