Camp O at the O-School

Camp O at the O-School is a supportive and structured day camp specifically designed for children ages 6-15 who require additional supports to fully participate in summer camp activities. The program thoughtfully embeds social and emotional learning (SEL) into every aspect of the camp experience, helping campers build confidence, discover new interests, and develop meaningful friendships within a safe, inclusive community.

To ensure a high level of supervision and personalized interaction, the camp maintains an exceptionally low staff-to-camper ratio of 1:4. This high level of support is provided by highly qualified and trained staff members who are equipped to assist children with diverse needs. The environment is designed to foster joy and silliness while providing the necessary structure for campers to thrive.

The upcoming camp session will run for two weeks, from August 5 through August 16, with daily hours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Chicago, IL. This program offers a wonderful opportunity for young people to engage in summer fun within a setting that prioritizes their unique developmental and emotional needs.
