Camp of the Rising Son

Camp of the Rising Son is an ACA-accredited, Christ-centered residential and day summer camp in French Camp, MS, serving youth ages 6-17. For over 40 years, the camp has focused on building meaningful relationships and fostering personal growth through a structured, supportive environment.

The camp program emphasizes experiential learning through outdoor activities, including experiencing creation, encouraging creativity, and learning new skills. This focus on hands-on engagement provides a nurturing space for campers to develop social skills and independence while participating in a variety of recreational activities.

Operated by French Camp Academy, the camp offers both overnight and day camp options. While the program is nondenominational Christian in affiliation, its primary mission is to provide a safe, fun, and enriching summer experience for all participants.
