Camp Osito Rancho is an inclusive summer camp in Big Bear Lake, CA, offering adaptive outdoor activities for grades 2-12.
Located in the San Bernardino Mountains at 7,500 feet, Camp Osito Rancho provides an inclusive outdoor program designed to ensure all campers, from 2nd through 12th grade, feel welcome and able to participate. The camp focuses on building self-esteem, fostering new friendships, and developing independence through nature-based exploration in a supportive environment.
The camp offers a wide variety of adaptive and engaging activities, including horseback riding, archery, canoeing on a private lake, hiking, and arts and crafts. For those seeking more physical challenges, the high adventure course features rock climbing and zip lines. The setting includes beautiful pines and meadows, with indoor fireplaces and an outdoor fire ring for evening campfires, songs, and skits.
Camp Osito Rancho offers six 6-day sessions throughout the summer, with round-trip bus transportation available from Arcadia, Long Beach, and Woodland Hills. For older girls in grades 9-12, the Camp Leadership Program (CIT) provides an extensive 3-week experience to develop leadership skills. Full or partial financial aid is available to support families in accessing these programs.
