Camp Pikati

Camp Pikati, hosted at the West Suburban YMCA, offers inclusive summer programming for children ages 3 to 15. The camp features weekly themes that incorporate a variety of sensory and physical activities, including arts and crafts, gaga ball, and archery. These structured programs are designed to engage campers of different ability levels through diverse, hands-on experiences.

For children interested in physical development and skill-building, the Sports Camp provides focused instruction in various sports through drills and games. This program emphasizes healthy competition and technique in a supportive environment. Additionally, all sessions include swim lessons and free swim time, providing essential water safety skills and opportunities for supervised aquatic play.

The camp also features a Leader-in-Training (LIT) program, which serves as a developmental bridge for older campers transitioning into leadership roles. LITs assist counselors with daily operations, programming, and camper supervision, fostering responsibility and social growth. As an ACA-accredited program, Camp Pikati maintains high standards for safety and quality care.
