Camp Pinebrook provides a gentle and nurturing "first camp" experience specifically designed for young children ages 3 to 8. Located on 15 wooded acres in New Rochelle, NY, the camp offers an intimate, preschool-sized setting that helps young campers feel comfortable, safe, and secure. The facility features a brand-new, 110,000 square-foot air-conditioned indoor building, ensuring a comfortable environment regardless of the weather.
The camp features a highly structured daily program with eight activities per day, including sports, arts, drama, dance, yoga, science, nature, martial arts, and cooking. To support physical development and water safety, campers participate in daily semi-private swim lessons with a low ratio of 2-3 campers per instructor. The campus is well-equipped with two heated pools, athletic fields, basketball and gaga courts, and playgrounds.
Staff members are attentive, well-trained, and dedicated to providing a supportive environment infused with Jewish values. While the camp offers a full-scale summer experience, its small scale is ideal for children who may benefit from more personalized supervision and a less overwhelming social setting.
