Camp Ronald McDonald at Eagle Lake is a fully accessible residential camp located in the beautiful High Sierra. A project of Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern California, this American Camping Association-accredited camp is specifically designed for children living with special medical needs, physical or emotional disabilities, and those facing economic hardships. The camp provides a supportive environment where campers can build confidence through the challenges of outdoor group living and teamwork.

The camp's programming focuses on fostering individuality and self-esteem through a wide variety of adaptive activities. Campers can participate in outdoor education like archery and mountain biking, waterfront activities, and creative arts including drama, music, dance, and various arts and crafts such as jewelry making and nature crafts. These programs are structured to encourage creativity and social connection in a safe, inclusive setting.

Serving approximately 1,000 participants each summer, the camp offers sessions ranging from less than one week up to two weeks, with costs typically up to $700 per week. The camp is dedicated to providing life-changing experiences for at-risk and disadvantaged youth in a highly supportive and accessible residential atmosphere.
