Camp Sangamon

Camp Buckskin is an overnight summer camp located in Isabella, MN, that offers specialized services for boys and girls ages 6-18 who are experiencing academic and/or social skill difficulties. The camp caters to children with AD/HD, Learning Disabilities, Aspergers, and similar needs, providing a supportive environment for campers with average to well above average intelligence.

Since its establishment in 1959, Camp Buckskin has helped over 8,000 children benefit from its therapeutic program, leading to personal growth and improvement as reported by parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in their lives. The camp utilizes the summer to help youth stay focused, gain knowledge and skills, and improve existing abilities, ultimately leading to a smoother transition to the new school year and increased happiness and success.
