Camp Veritans

Camp Veritans is an American Camp Association (ACA) Accredited day camp in Haledon, New Jersey, serving children ages 3 to 15. The camp provides a supportive outdoor learning environment focused on self-discovery, leadership, and effective communication. The program is designed to foster social connections and confidence through healthy risk-taking adventures in a safe, supervised setting.

The daily schedule, running weekday mornings from late June through mid-August, includes a wide variety of engaging activities such as swimming, athletics, arts and crafts, and specialty programs. To support children with various health and sensory needs, the camp provides nut-free lunches and is able to accommodate additional dietary requirements to ensure every camper can participate safely and comfortably.

Operated by the Veritans Club, a philanthropic organization with deep roots in the community, the camp emphasizes a mission of providing a safe place for kids to play and grow. Campers arrive by 9 a.m. and are ready for dismissal at 4 p.m., with a focus on a structured and enriching daily experience.
