Camp Voyageur

Camp Voyageur offers a structured four-week overnight experience in Ely, MN, designed to build confidence and social skills in boys. Through a consistent daily routine of inspections, meals, and organized activities, campers develop independence and interpersonal connections in a supportive, ACA-accredited environment.

The program features a wide range of engaging activities including archery, sailing, paddleboarding, fishing, and music. For boys who benefit from sensory-rich or nature-based learning, the camp provides unique excursions to the International Wolf Center, the North American Bear Center, and local iron mines. The energetic staff leads creative group events like the CV Olympics and the Cardboard Boat Regatta, fostering teamwork and community.

For older campers or those seeking more advanced skill-building, the camp offers progressive wilderness programming. This includes canoe trips into the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, where campers learn essential backcountry camping skills and navigation. These structured adventures allow for gradual progression in responsibility and leadership within a safe, supervised setting.
