Camp Walden

Camp Walden provides a nurturing, traditional overnight camping experience in Northern Michigan, designed to be a "home-away-from-home" for campers. Set on 100 acres of old-growth forest and sandy beaches, the camp fosters an atmosphere of fun and acceptance, making it a supportive environment for children to explore new interests and build confidence through meaningful, authentic experiences.

The program offers a diverse menu of 50 different activities, allowing campers to design their own schedules to suit their unique interests and comfort levels. Facilities include tennis courts, athletic fields, English saddle riding stables, arts and crafts, theater facilities, and a robust waterfront program featuring four Mastercraft ski boats. This variety of structured and self-directed activities provides excellent opportunities for social growth and sensory exploration in a natural setting.
