Camp Widewater

Camp Widewater offers an inclusive outdoor experience in northwest Ohio, specifically designed to welcome campers of all ages, faiths, and abilities. Set on 106 acres of meadows and wooded paths, the camp provides a sensory-rich environment for spiritual growth and recreation. The facility features Harmony Lodge, which accommodates up to 130 campers in a climate-controlled, carpeted, and fully accessible setting, ensuring comfort for those with diverse physical needs.

The camp is highly accessible, featuring stone paths that encircle the lodge and wheelchair-accessible trails leading to the pond, fire pits, and a unique 8-circuit Chartres design labyrinth. For campers with mobility considerations, the grounds include several "park-and sit" areas to enjoy the landscape. Activities are diverse and adaptable, including swimming in the pool, canoeing on the Maumee River, archery, fishing, hiking, and nature crafts, all within a supportive and welcoming atmosphere.

Operating as a United Methodist camp, Widewater provides both day and overnight stays, as well as family camp opportunities. The camp's infrastructure, including modern meeting spaces and a spacious dining room, is designed to support groups and families navigating various accessibility requirements.
