Camp Wood YMCA

Camp Wood YMCA is an ACA-accredited summer resident camp located in the heart of the Flint Hills, offering both day and overnight programs. The camp focuses on the well-rounded development of youth across physical, social, spiritual, mental, and emotional levels. The 868-acre setting provides a safe, structured, and outdoor atmosphere designed to foster growth and confidence in a natural environment.

The camp features a variety of aquatic and nature-based programs set against a backdrop of pristine prairie, forest, lake, and river. These activities are designed to encourage exploration and learning through hands-on outdoor play. With cabins and lodges providing comfortable shelter, campers can engage in supervised adventures such as swimming, exploring gullies, and nature study within a secure, supervised setting.
