Camps Chipinaw & Silver Lake

Camps Chipinaw and Silver Lake are neighboring overnight camps situated on over 300 acres in the Catskill Mountains, NY. The Chipinaw campus provides full-summer stays, while the Silver Lake campus offers 3-week or 4-week sessions. Featuring a 96-acre lake, the facilities are designed to foster independence and social connection.

The program offers over sixty activities, including two water activities, two sports, and two electives daily, providing a predictable yet diverse routine. As campers grow, the variety of sports and electives expands to match their interests. To support social development and confidence, campers participate in a daily activity selection process with guidance from group leaders.

Organized group events include sports leagues, inter-camp competitions, Olympics, and Color War, plus special events like carnivals and beach days. As an ACA Accredited camp, Chipinaw & Silver Lake provides a safe, supervised environment for campers to build skills and lasting friendships through a blend of tradition and modern programming.
