Cedar Hill Day Camp

Cedar Hill Day Camp, operated by the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts, offers an expansive 75-acre outdoor environment in Waltham, MA. The camp features a variety of sensory and physical engagement opportunities, including numerous nature trails, a winding stream, a pond for canoeing, and two swimming pools. These diverse natural settings provide a wonderful space for campers to explore and connect with the outdoors.

The camp provides a wide range of structured activities designed to build confidence and skills, such as arts, games, singing, environmental study, and outdoor skills. For older campers (grades 4 and up), archery is also available. The site includes a low ropes challenge course, which can serve as an excellent way for children to develop problem-solving skills and physical coordination in a supportive, supervised setting.

As an ACA Accredited camp, Cedar Hill maintains high standards for safety and programming. While the camp focuses on traditional day camp activities, the variety of terrain and specialized equipment like the ropes course and sports fields offers multiple ways for children with different physical abilities and interests to participate and thrive.
