Charis Hills Camp

Charis Hills Camp is a Christian residential summer camp in Sunset, TX, specifically designed for campers ages 7 to 18 with HF autism and other learning differences. The camp operates on a "play with a purpose" philosophy, offering a wide variety of 25 different activities that allow campers to engage with their interests in a supportive, structured environment.

The program focuses heavily on social and emotional development. While staff members work on social skills with all campers throughout the program, they also focus on specific, pre-selected social/emotional goals for each individual. This intentional approach helps campers build confidence and interpersonal skills through activities such as equestrian studies, swimming, fine arts, theater, music, and filmmaking.

The camp offers eight week-long overnight sessions, providing a consistent and predictable schedule that is beneficial for neurodivergent youth. With a diverse range of activities including crafts, photography, and academics, Charis Hills provides a comprehensive recreational and educational experience tailored to the unique needs of each camper.
