Inclusive, sensory-friendly day camp in Boston, MA, offering adaptive STEAM programs for neurodiverse campers
CreatiVentures Collective (@LAC) is an inclusive day camp serving the Jamaica Plain and Brookline areas of Boston, MA. Designed for neurodiverse children—including those with ADHD, Autism, learning disabilities, and 2e (twice-exceptional) profiles—the program utilizes Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and adaptive, sensory-friendly approaches to accommodate all 504 or IEP needs.
The camp features STEAM-based activities, including nature and ecology explorations, artful literacy, and hands-on science experiments. Daily routines integrate multi-sensory activities, mindfulness, and sensory breaks. Staff support diverse communication styles using adaptive tools, PECS, and assistive technology, focusing on social skills, executive functioning, and emotional regulation through play-based, collaborative projects.
To reduce anxiety and support transitions, the camp provides visual schedules, routine consistency, and sensory supports like noise-canceling headphones and fidget items. Offering 3-week and 6-week sessions with flexible drop-off options, the camp invites families to schedule a free consultation to create a personalized access plan for a successful summer experience.
