Deerkill Day Camp

Deerkill Day Camp is an ACA-accredited day camp in Suffern, NY, providing a structured and nurturing summer experience for children ages 3 through 14. With six decades of experience, the camp focuses on building a strong sense of community through professional-led programs in athletics, swimming, and the arts. The camp is designed to help children develop new skills and lifelong friendships in a safe, supervised environment.

The camp offers a diverse range of activities that can be beneficial for children seeking sensory engagement or specialized skill-building, including professional swim instruction in heated pools, yoga, nature studies, and creative arts such as ceramics, woodworking, and theater. To support families, Deerkill provides highly structured daily routines, including air-conditioned bus transportation supervised by professional drivers and bus counselors, as well as daily hot lunches and all necessary camp supplies.

Safety and accessibility are priorities, with Directors on-site daily and group leaders who are adults, many of whom are trained teachers. Families can choose flexible registration periods ranging from 2 to 8 weeks. The camp's all-inclusive model covers field trips, snacks, and towel service, with no extra charges for most activities, ensuring a predictable and stress-free experience for parents navigating summer planning.
