Dustin's Place

Dustin's Place provides specialized summer camp experiences for children and adults with a wide range of developmental disabilities, including Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and physical or mental disabilities. Operating with a clinically educated staff, the camp focuses on achieving individual camper goals within a safe, relaxed, and family-oriented atmosphere. The program offers both family ranch camps and mountain adventure camps, providing a supportive environment for campers aged 9 to 40.

Located on a 300-acre working cattle ranch in Tennessee (with bus transportation provided from their farm in Cumming, GA), the camp offers unique therapeutic and recreational opportunities. Campers engage in therapeutic horseback riding and horsemanship, working closely with their own dedicated horse. Other activities include hiking, fishing, archery, primitive skills, music sessions, and intentional craft making, all designed to foster growth and new friendships.

The camp provides residential, day camp, and respite care options, with sessions ranging from one to four weeks. All activities are conducted in a clinically informed environment led by licensed direct staff to ensure safety and personalized support. While sessions are priced up to $1000 per week, the focus remains on providing high-quality, specialized care and adventure for the special needs community.
