Friends Camp

Friends Camp provides 1- and 2-week overnight programs in South China, ME, for children and teens ages 7-17. Built on the values of peace, simplicity, integrity, and community equality, the camp offers a highly inclusive and accepting environment. The camp explicitly welcomes youth of all races, religions, genders, and sexual orientations, making it a safe and supportive space for campers of all backgrounds.

The camp experience focuses on community, play, and outdoor exploration through a variety of rotating activities. Depending on the session, campers can engage in ceramics, sailing, sports, drama, games, hiking, and photography. This variety allows campers to explore new interests and develop social skills in a natural, outdoor setting.

As an ACA-accredited camp, Friends Camp maintains high standards for safety and programming. While the camp is rooted in Quaker values, it is open to all families seeking a summer experience centered on sustainability and social connection.
