Harand Camp of the Theatre Arts

Harand Camp of the Theatre Arts offers a unique, non-competitive summer camp experience for children ages 7 to 18 (grades 3 to 12). Located on the beautiful campus of Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the camp focuses on building confidence through singing, dancing, and acting. The non-competitive environment is specifically designed to foster self-esteem and ensure that every camper feels like a star, making it an ideal setting for neurodivergent youth or those who may struggle with the pressures of competitive performance.

The camp provides a highly supportive and supervised environment with an impressive 4:1 camper-to-staff ratio. In addition to theatre arts, campers participate in various sports and activities, ensuring a well-rounded summer. The program is structured around 1, 3, and 6-week overnight sessions, providing opportunities for social growth and independence in a safe, ACA-accredited setting.

Situated on the shores of Lake Michigan, Harand Camp utilizes modern facilities to provide a comfortable and engaging summer experience. While the focus is on the performing arts, the emphasis remains on the fun of traditional summer camp, prioritizing personal growth and social connection over competition.
