Irvine Ranch Outdoor Education Center

The Irvine Ranch Outdoor Education Center is a 210-acre educational and recreational oasis in the hills of Orange County, CA, offering year-round experiential learning opportunities. The center provides a structured and immersive environment through three specialized areas: STEM, Mining, and Ecology Ranch, allowing children to engage deeply with nature and science through hands-on activities.

The facility is well-equipped for diverse physical needs and interests, featuring an aquatics center with a water slide, a quad zipline, and both low and high ropes courses. For students who benefit from sensory-rich or active outdoor engagement, the center offers archery, BB gun ranges, miles of hiking trails, and tent camping options. The campus also includes an outdoor amphitheater and a large 10,000 square foot dining room to accommodate group needs.

As an ACA Accredited facility operated by the Orange County Council BSA, the center maintains high standards for safety and programming.
