MDA Summer Camp

MDA Summer Camp provides a specialized residential camp experience for children and teens ages 6 to 17 living with neuromuscular diseases. The program is specifically designed for MDA-registered participants affected by any of the more than 40 neuromuscular diseases covered by the MDA, offering a supportive community where campers can connect with peers facing similar challenges.

Safety and medical oversight are central to the camp experience. Acceptance is contingent upon a thorough evaluation of each child's application by MDA staff and medical advisers, including a dedicated camp health staff and clinic team. This ensures that the medical needs and accommodations of every camper are carefully reviewed and supported by trained professionals.

There is no fee to attend MDA Summer Camp, as all camp costs are fully covered by the MDA. Because space is limited, applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Families are encouraged to meet all application deadlines to ensure consideration for this fully-funded opportunity.
