Nature Discovery Camp - Cora Hartshorn

Nature Discovery Camp at the Cora Hartshorn Arboretum offers a sensory-rich, outdoor learning environment for children ages 4-9. Set within 16 acres of woodlands, the camp provides a hands-on way for young learners to engage with the natural world through creative activities, live animals, and an educational facility that encourages exploration and discovery.

The program utilizes tactile, outdoor-based activities designed to nurture a protective attitude toward living things. This nature-focused approach is ideal for children who benefit from active, experiential learning and a calm, natural setting away from traditional classroom structures. The camp offers nine weeks of summer programming as well as multiple mini-camps throughout the year.
